I have 19 years of experience in Cosmetic Dermatology and had the privilege of starting with Dr. Bonakdar when the 2020 pandemic started. I can truly say that my employment at this amazing practice is one of the few good things that came out of the pandemic!

I really love the intimacy of my job as an esthetician. It is an honor that people trust me with their faces. I love teaming with patients and creating their customized treatment plans consisting of professional treatments as well as home care. Being that I suffered from acne, I take skin transformations very personally. Getting to witness people becoming comfortable in their own skin brings me so much joy.

When I made the transition from spa to cosmetic dermatology many years ago, one of the first things I learned was dermaplaning. I’ll never forget how terrified I was to use a scalpel for skin exfoliation - now it’s just second nature and I can’t live without it!

My favorite procedure is the Reve Peel. I am very results driven, it’s satisfying to see such the transformation and improvement in pigmentation as well as texture of the skin in a short amount of time. I call it the “Reve Reset”!

My favorite product is the MonBon Glow Pads created by Dr. Bonakdar- a perfect proprietary blend of hydroxy acids, antioxidants, and skin brighteners in a convenient pad delivery system that you simply wipe across your skin once a day. They make your skin so much more vibrant. I can’t live without them anymore.

I am a mom to an incredible daughter who is my world.

I try to be outdoors as much as possible when I’m not at work. I love hiking and taking my daughter to explore different beaches and tide pools along the coast.

I absolutely love the culture of our office. All my coworkers have a unique blend of light heartedness and professionalism that creates a perfectly balanced and fun office flow. There is always a ton of laughter. We’re like a little family.

One of the things I love the most about Dr. Bonakdar is how transparent and humble she is. There is no mask - what you see is what you get. She says what she means, and means what she says, which is so hard to find these days. She has the best sense of humor too. My favorite is when she gets excited about something and does her happy dance. She’s so fun...
