What Is Ultherapy?

I recommend that patients consider Ultherapy non-invasive tissue lifting and tightening for the face and neck for a variety of different reasons. One of the biggest reasons is that it gives you great results without any downtime or surgical recovery. This may leave you asking, “How does it work if there’s no surgery?” That’s a great question! Ultherapy uses ultrasound technology to target deep layers of skin which up to now, could only be reached during surgery. By heating up the deep tissues in your skin, Ultherapy stimulates your skin’s natural production of collagen— leaving you with a smoother complexion and a visible reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

What Is Treatment Like?

Your treatment session starts with topical numbing and pain medication to make your treatment a breeze. It’s all about the number of treatment lines that are delivered, so the more comfortable you are, the more treatment lines I can deliver, and the better your results will be. During your treatment session, I will place the DEEP SEE Ultrasound device over the area being treated, and visualize the deep tissue collagen. Then I deliver ultrasound pulses directed at this collagen layer, shrinking the existing collagen and stimulating the tissue to produce more of this good stuff in the next 3-6 months. Treatments typically last anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes depending on the patient. What Are Results Like?
