Attributes of the Perfect Lips

Beautiful lips are appreciated by all humans regardless of their geographical and cultural differences. This is because ideal lips have certain predictable attributes.

• Ideal lips have two halves that are identical twin images of each other. Even though most beautiful human faces may not be completely symmetrical, we still find most beautiful lips to be those that are identical twin halves.
• Top lip has two side pillows starting at the lip corner and ending at the cupid’s bow. Top lip also has a middle pillow that forms the Cupid’s bow. Each of these pillows projects out maximally in its center part.
• Bottom lip has two pillows with maximal projection at the center of each pillow.
• Ideally the bottom lip is equal to the top lip or larger than the top lip by a ratio of 1.6181 to 1.
• The highest point of the cupid’s bow connects to the base of the nose via two columns called the philtral columns. These two columns are not parallel but tilt slightly toward each other.
