Dr. Bonakdar Explains: This patient came did not like her flattened, deflated earlobes. She could no longer wear earrings. Clips would fall off and pierced earrings did not look pleasing. Aging affects the entire face, even your earlobes, which can wrinkle and thin as collagen production decreases. I injected dermal fillers into the earlobes and in front of the ear with cannula. This reflates the lobe and disguises the wrinkles. The patient is very happy that she can wear earrings again.
