Dr. Bonakdar Explains: This is a 64-year-old female with severe sun damage from years of living in Southern California. Her genetics has made her prone to hyperpigmentation and aging. The challenge for this patient was that she could not afford any downtime. I recommended the CoolPeel laser treatment, which virtually has no down time. This allowed her to do her treatments on Friday afternoon and be ready for work on Monday morning. After 3 CoolPeel sessions, the patient is happy with her results. Although her problem is not completely resolved, her skin has come a long way. She plans to continue these treatments to further her skin improvement.
