Dr. Bonakdar Explains: After a series of CoolPeel treatments, most of the this patient's sun damage was corrected. However, her wrinkles on the upper lip area, marionette area and chin were persistent and needed more improvement. She had one Subnovii Plasma Pen Therapy on the problem areas with significant improvement. The after photo shows shrinkage of the skin between the upper lip and the base of the nose as well as resolution of majority of the wrinkles. Her chin creases resolved and the marionette lines are more shallow. The remaining shallow lines can be filled with a dermal filler or can be treated with a second Subnovii Plasma Pen Therapy 12 weeks after her first treatment. When there are parts of the face that have aged disproportionately more than the rest of the face, Subnovii Plasma Pen Therapy is an ideal treatment to boost the health of the skin in that specific area so that the skin of the face becomes more uniform.
